2020 Events
International Women’s Day Coffee Morning Monday 9th March was celebrated at The Drop In Centre CC Ramon de Campoamor, Calle El Cipres, Lomas de Cabo Roig.
The Library was open for existing and new Members to see the fantastic selection of hardback books and audio books.
Jose Aix Deputy Mayor of Orihuela and other members of the local Council attended together with Alex Watkins of Costa Blanca News and Kevin Reardon of The Leader and Chairman of The Royal British Legion, showing their support to all the Members who were able to impress them with all their wonderful talented exhibits of Tai Chi, Art and Crafts, card making.

At 11.30am there was three Tai Chi Displays by Lester and his students.
The Art Exhibition of Oils, Watercolours and Sketching by Glenda and Corinne and their students was admired and enjoyed by everyone
Donations of €5+ for paintings by the Watercolour group, towards a vehicle for Members who need transport to the Centre.
A fantastic Craft Card Making display by Jackie and her talented group.
The Theatre Drama Group played some of their latest productions on DVD, including Crazy little thing called love.
There was a huge interest in the activities organised at the Drop In Centre, we hope more Members join to make friends and integrate in the Community of Orihuela Costa.
